How I Work.
Core Ideology & Strategy.
I ask all clients to commit to working with me for a minimum of a year to ensure full strategic alignment and maximize success. Strategy is less about designing the “plan” and more about consistent and intentional progress toward your long–term goals. My job is to support you in this, not to give you a mission statement and list of projects, then send you on your way. I’ve designed my programs this way based on years of working with clients and this arrangement seems to be the best fit.
We will work together at least monthly, but typically more frequently, throughout the year to ensure that you’re confident and aligned in each step you take toward growing your venture.
If, for some reason, either of us chooses to change directions or discontinue our work together, we will agree on a “break up fee” ($500) paid to the other party and go our separate ways. First-year clients will be billed a minimum of $5,000, paid on a schedule of your choice. I reserve limited space for financially marginalized and non–profit groups.
I only accept 12 new clients per year to ensure I remain focused and available for existing clients.
Sessions.
I try to pre–schedule sessions at least a week in advance, but will be flexible for ad–hoc sessions and emergency issues. Individual sessions are scheduled through Google Calendar.
Most sessions are 60 minutes + 30 minute buffer to allow for extra time to wrap up important discussions. Group sessions (3+ people) are a minimum of 2 hours.
Sessions can be scheduled via:
Zoom
Charlie’s Sugarhouse Office
Charlie’s Downtown SLC Office
TBD location of your choice (subject to availability)
I generally accommodate scheduling changes, even day–of, and ask that you do the same for me, life happens. I prefer to meet when everyone involved can be fully present. If you are unable to be fully present or need to reschedule for any reason, please let me know ASAP.
Communication + Support.
I try to be available for clients when and how you need it and don’t have official business hours. I travel frequently and I enjoy my flexible schedule, making time for clients as needed.
I am generally available by text (preferred), email, zoom, Marco Polo, or phone call unless I’m in a meeting or taking personal time.
Please reach out with questions, concerns, or ideas even if you just want to brainstorm—trust that I’ll get back to you ASAP (though, as a human, sometimes I miss things. Gently follow up if you need to.) I will inform clients if I’m taking extended time offline.
I try my best to send a session recap email for each session I facilitate, but this is not guaranteed. If you’d like one, please request one.
I am always open to meeting your needs, please let me know if you have preferences, boundaries, or needs around communication and support or any of the work we do together.
Payment & Terms.
All clients are required to sign a working agreement with me to ensure trust and outline expectations for working together. Part of this agreement is to approve automatic billing and save a card on file. Please advise if you would prefer to pay directly.
Ad–hoc sessions are billed automatically at the end of each session.
Payment plans and subscriptions will be billed automatically on a pre–determined schedule.
Group sessions will be manually invoiced and billed unless otherwise discussed.
I never want price to be a limiting factor in our work together. If pricing is ever a concern, please reach out and we will find a mutually beneficial arrangement.
Feedback & Referrals.
I am always looking to improve my work and I appreciate both constructive feedback and validation.
I am also always open to referrals and I’m happy to meet with prospective clients once or twice to ensure good fit. If you know of someone who would benefit from this work, please connect us via text or email.
